Hi everyone. Phil Harper here with WellNest. So talking a little bit about COVID-19 and how it’s impacted our business, what we’ve done, the training we’ve provided, the updated PPE. When COVID-19 hit, the first thing we did was make sure we were properly knowledgeable, that we had the right information. Obviously, information was changing by the day, so we wanted to make sure that we focused on the science and the evidence. Once the credible sources started coming out with trainings, we focused on taking notes. The first and foremost being from the Global Biorisk Advisory Council, which is a division of the Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association. They put out a training called the Microbial Warrior Workshop, which focused on the fundamentals of cleaning for COVID-19. So I took the course. We had our entire management team took the course. We also had all of our trainers, both on the residential and commercial side, take the course so that they were properly training their teams in how to clean for COVID-19.

We then got certified by the Academy of Cleaning Excellence in infection prevention, so we not understood, not just with COVID, but with harmful pathogens overall, of how they spread and how to clean for them properly and prevent those chains of infections from happening in office spaces, in homes, in the public, just throughout the area, so that we were properly cleaning, disinfecting and building the appropriate cleaning protocols to break chains of infection as they occur.

So training, after taking the Microbial Warrior Workshop and then getting certified, we then built a proprietary two-hour training that all of our teams, all of our employees could take to make sure that they were properly trained on what is COVID-19? How does it spread? What’s the cause? What’s the impact? What precautions to take at work, what precautions to take outside of work, why it’s so scary, and all these things so that with all the information out there, we were sure that our employees had the right science and evidence-based information on COVID-19.

If you have any questions at all, we’re all in this together. Please do not hesitate to give us a call. We can walk you through anything. Questions on how to clean, let us know. What our precautions are, definitely ask. Anything at all, don’t hesitate to reach out. And please, stay safe out there and we’ll see you soon. Take care.
