Common Questions
Dental Office Cleaning FAQ
Do your crews understand the difference between clinical and non-clinical areas?
Yes. WellNest crews assigned to dental offices are briefed on the distinction between clinical operatory areas and non-clinical support spaces. WellNest handles janitorial cleaning of non-clinical surfaces: floors, reception, waiting areas, restrooms, break rooms, and operatory floors after sessions. Clinical surface disinfection of treatment chairs, bracket tables, and instrumentation is a clinical responsibility governed by infection-control protocols, not a janitorial task. The written scope reflects this clearly so there is no confusion about what WellNest is and is not doing.
How is regulated or medical waste handled?
Standard trash, including non-regulated waste from treatment areas, is removed on every visit. Regulated medical waste, including sharps containers and biohazardous materials, is not handled by WellNest cleaning staff. That waste is managed by your practice through a licensed medical waste disposal vendor, which is standard industry practice. WellNest will not place staff in a position of handling regulated waste. If you are unsure how to classify certain waste streams in your practice, your infection-control consultant is the right resource.
Can you schedule cleaning after patient hours?
Yes, and that is the default for dental office accounts. WellNest schedules service after the last patient appointment so cleaning never interrupts the clinical day or creates access conflicts with patient areas. If your practice runs multiple locations in Northern Virginia with staggered closing times, WellNest can accommodate different schedules per location under the same program.
Are your employees bonded and insured?
Yes. Every WellNest employee is a W-2 employee (not a gig worker or independent contractor), hired, vetted, background-checked, trained, bonded, and insured by WellNest directly. This means you have a single accountable company behind every person entering your facility, and proper liability coverage if anything is ever damaged or goes wrong. Documentation is available on request.
Do you use green or environmentally friendly cleaning products?
WellNest uses an evidence-based green cleaning approach across all services, choosing products and methods that are effective and safer for building occupants and the environment. If your facility has specific product requirements (fragrance-free, low-VOC, EPA Safer Choice, or a product list you already use), let us know during the walkthrough and we'll accommodate them.
What if we're not satisfied with the cleaning?
Contact us directly. Same-day response during business hours, within one business day after hours. If something was missed or not done to the agreed standard, we'll address it promptly. Commercial accounts have a named point of contact, not a generic support queue, so issues get resolved by someone who knows your facility.
What areas does WellNest serve with its commercial cleaning services?
WellNest serves businesses in Northern Virginia (including Alexandria and Arlington), Washington D.C., and parts of Maryland such as Bethesda, Columbia, and Rockville.
