Common Questions

Church Cleaning FAQ

Can you work around weekend services and holiday events?

Yes. WellNest builds the schedule around your congregation's calendar, not the other way around. For most churches, that means cleaning after Sunday services, before Wednesday evening programs, or at a time that keeps the space ready without conflicting with volunteer setup or staff activities. Holiday and seasonal event coverage, such as Christmas Eve services or Easter, is coordinated in advance so the building is ready when the congregation arrives.

Do you offer cleanup after special events like receptions or community dinners?

Yes. Post-event cleanup, including fellowship halls, kitchens, and restrooms after large gatherings, can be added alongside the recurring program or scheduled as a standalone service. The scope for an event cleanup is agreed on in advance, whether that's a full kitchen breakdown, floor mopping, restroom reset, or all three. For churches with a regular events calendar, WellNest can build those cleanups into a standing arrangement rather than scheduling each one individually.

How do you handle the sanctuary and other sensitive spaces?

The sanctuary is treated with the care the space deserves. Pews or chairs are wiped, floors vacuumed or mopped, and high-touch surfaces addressed on every visit. WellNest crews do not move or rearrange altar furniture, instruments, or décor items. Any area that should not be disturbed is noted during the walkthrough and excluded or handled with specific instructions. If your facility has unusual materials, historic features, or anything requiring a particular approach, let us know before we start.

Are your employees bonded and insured?

Yes. Every WellNest employee is a W-2 employee (not a gig worker or independent contractor), hired, vetted, background-checked, trained, bonded, and insured by WellNest directly. This means you have a single accountable company behind every person entering your facility, and proper liability coverage if anything is ever damaged or goes wrong. Documentation is available on request.

How does commercial cleaning pricing work?

Commercial cleaning is quoted after an on-site walkthrough, not over the phone or from a square-footage estimate alone. Every facility is different, and scope, frequency, access requirements, and supply needs all affect the program. After the walkthrough, you'll receive a detailed written proposal within 2 business days covering all of that. No surprise charges, no vague estimates.

What if we're not satisfied with the cleaning?

Contact us directly. Same-day response during business hours, within one business day after hours. If something was missed or not done to the agreed standard, we'll address it promptly. Commercial accounts have a named point of contact, not a generic support queue, so issues get resolved by someone who knows your facility.

What areas does WellNest serve with its commercial cleaning services?

WellNest serves businesses in Northern Virginia (including Alexandria and Arlington), Washington D.C., and parts of Maryland such as Bethesda, Columbia, and Rockville.
